Personal Help Forum
This is a place to discuss issues that concern you,
receive help and encouragement, and support each other as you heal and
grow. There is a general section, for general discussion and
questions, which can be seen by the public, and anyone can post or
reply. Other boards on the forum are for discussing more in depth
issues, and they will be seen and accessed only by those who have been
approved to access them.
Click
here to go to the forum.
In order to more fully participate in the forum, you will need to
register as a member by creating
an account in the forum. If you are known to us, please use the
same name we know you by, when you register, or send us an email telling
us what name you have registered with, so that we know who you are, and
will approve your registration.
If we do not know you when you register, you will first need to post in
the general board or contact the counsellors directly to let us know what
sort of help you are looking for, before you will have access to the areas
of the forum where more personal issues are discussed.
To get to know us, before joining the forum, please feel free to leave us
a note or ask questions in the General Board, or contact John at www.onlinecounsellor.co.nz
and Carolyn here.
Or, you can seek help from the counsellors through either website.
The guidelines for the forum are simple:
1. Respect and courtesy is to be shown to all. In other words, treat each
other as kindly as you would want to be treated.
2. What is said here STAYS here. The General Board is public, and thus
open to anyone to read and post, so be discreet in regards to what you
post of a sensitive and personal nature there ... either of your own
stuff, or of someone else's. Keep more personal discussions and support
between members of the forum on the other boards that are for members only
... and keep these personal discussions confidential. This means that you
do NOT share about what other people share there, outside of the forum.
Remember that the board is only as private, confidential, and safe as the
members in it make it to be. So please make and keep it a safe and
supportive place of healing for all who come.
Be aware also, that while we will do our best to make sure that these
guidelines are followed, we cannot guarantee that everyone who comes here
will always follow these simple rules. So please, take care of yourselves,
and do not post anything to anyone that you are not comfortable posting or
having people know about you.
